Amazed Nominated for Two Diamond Awards
SHERMAN, Texas – The reigning SGN Music Award Female Group of the Year Amazed recently received news that they have been nominated for two Diamond Awards.
Amazed received nominations in the categories of Song of the Year (for the hit single “Even On Monday”) and Duet of the Year. This is Amazed’s fourth consecutive nomination for Duet of the Year. The group previously won the award in 2007 and 2005.

Amazed Named Female Group of the Year
SHERMAN, Texas - Two-time Diamond Award Duet of the Year winners Amazed added another award to their ever-increasing resumé. The up and coming duo was awarded their first Female Group of the Year award at the SGN Music Awards earlier this week.

The new single, titled "I Still Believe", was written by critically acclaimed songwriter Stephanie Brown (Jody Brown Indian Family) and is the second single from the group's latest recording, Just Getting Started.

Roger Neal & Friends Sing for MS Tour Cancelled
SoGospelNews.com has confirmed with several sources that the Roger Neal & Friends Sing for MS Tour has been cancelled. Some of the information we have received is that the tour was cancelled due to lack of ticket sales and other factors. No one in the Roger Neal office could be contacted for any more specific details.
The tour had already completed 11 of the 53 tour dates. No word has been given on whether the tour will be rescheduled. More information will be available as we receive it.
UPDATE: We were able to speak with Roger Neal today and he stated that he hopes to find another sponsor to continue the tour and should have official word by Monday.

Amazed Recieves Nominations in SGN Music Awards and SGM FanFair Awards
SHERMAN, Texas –Diamond Award winning duo Amazed was recently greeted with the news that they have received a nominations in two key awards programs.
First, Amazed received a nomination for Female Group of the Year in the 2007 SGN Music Awards. This is the group’s first nomination in the SGN Music Awards. The SGN Music Awards’ nominations were decided on by the staff of SouthernGospelNews.com and were announced last Sunday, January 21, 2007, on the SouthernGospelNews.com site. Beginning February 1, 2007 – fans will get a chance to vote for their favorites in each category.
